Alcohol quiets my tinnitus. I use Vodka. Usually three drinks will do, sometimes five. After a day of pure pain, I look forward to an evening of relief. Too bad the doctors can give me a pill to accomplish the same. Will I kill myself with liver disease? Who cares. Anyone with the level of noise that I have doesn’t care the consequences of our actions. We just want peace of mind for a few hours. If we have to drink ourselves to death, so be it.

I bought this book. This book is not a miracle but it is a very useful source of information how to treat tinnitus, it does not give you a cure to be completely cured, it just introduces you the treatment methods available in the market,mostly traditional and herbal treatments.

I have been reading a few posts on here and have picked up some useful info. One thing I have found which works really well for better sleep, feeling more relaxed and focused is binaural beats. As strange as they may sound (excuse the pun) they are a very powerful method of relaxation.
