A person experiencing hearing loss may be very loud during conversations. Conversely, a person experiencing hearing loss may speak very quietly. When a person has hearing loss, his mind may subconsciously fill in the blanks with what would seem to be the normal conversation. The person with hearing loss may not realize that he did not hear what he thought he heard. This allows you to agree to commitments to which you did not mean to agree.
